Daniel C. Schmidt
Daniel C. Schmidt is the founder and principal of Schmidt Law Group. Mr. Schmidt attended the University of Waterloo and obtained his law degree from Osgoode Hall in Toronto, Ontario in 1983. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1985, and has since been a partner with 2 prominent law firms, one national and the other international, and has served in a variety of senior positions in such firms.
Mr. Schmidt practises exclusively business law, with his primary focus on mergers and acquisitions, both domestic and cross-border, corporate finance, contract review, and corporate structuring and restructuring. He has a diverse client base which spans many industry sectors, and his clients include and have included private equity firms, private and public companies, financial institutions and public bodies. Mr. Schmidt is a life-long resident of the Waterloo Region. He serves and has served on a number of boards and committees. |
